3/30/17 – AT&T has been selected by the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) to build and manage the first broadband network dedicated to America’s police, firefighters and emergency medical services (EMS). The FirstNet network will cover all 50 states, 5 U.S. territories and the District of Columbia, including rural communities and tribal lands in those states and territories.
12/14/16 – Inmarsat Government today announced that it has executed a service provider agreement with CopaSAT LLC to provide Global Xpress services in support of U.S. government expeditionary communications needs. CopaSAT Offers Bundled Solutions of Satellite Terminal Equipment and High-Throughput Wideband Connectivity Services for U.S. Government and Military Customers.
8/4/16 – Inmarsat Government has been issued modification P00001 to lift the stop-work order issued due the protest filed on the initial award. Inmarsat Government remains the awardee and is allowed to proceed with the work. This contract supports the U.S Navy's Commercial Broadband Satellite Program (CBSP) Satellite Services Contract (CSSC). The single award consists of a base one-year period with four one-year option periods through 2021.
6/2/16 – Inmarsat Government announced that it has successfully supported the 2016 Heard Island Project, a multidisciplinary expedition to a remote island in the Southern Ocean.
7/20/15 – Inmarsat Government today announced that it has executed a service provider agreement with DataPath Inc. to provide Inmarsat Global Xpress services in support of U.S. government expeditionary communications needs.
3/10/15 – Inmarsat Government announced that it has executed a service provider agreement with Honeywell to provide Inmarsat Global Xpress services to the U.S. government aeronautical market.
3/2/15 – Inmarsat Government, the leading provider of secure, global, mission-critical telecommunications to the U.S. public sector, today announced that its new L-band Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (LAISR) service has completed successful customer airborne testing and will be available for U.S. government customers by June of this year.
1/20/15 – Inmarsat Government today announced it has executed a service provider agreement with Globecomm Systems Inc. to supply Inmarsat Global Xpress service in support of U.S. government customers.
