Ali Rana is the Chief Financial Officer of Viasat Government Services, a business segment of Viasat Government and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Viasat Inc., focused on delivering secure end-to-end managed network services to the U.S. Government via major programs.
Mr. Rana is responsible for the strategic financial planning and accounting operations of Viasat Government Systems.
Mr. Rana brings more than 15 years of experience in finance operations, financial analyses, treasury management and Controller. He previously served as Sr. Director Controller of Inmarsat Government Inc. until the company’s acquisition by Viasat in May 2023. Prior to that he worked in various finance positions at Segovia.
Mr. Rana holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from Strayer University. He is CPA licensed in Virginia.
