Matt Wissler is Chief Technology Officer of Viasat Government Services, a business segment of Viasat Government and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Viasat Inc. focused on delivering secure end-to-end managed network services to the U.S. Government via major programs.
Mr. Wissler leads the development and maintenance of key product and services technology roadmaps including innovation, development and commercialization activities to enhance these roadmaps. His responsibilities also include leading solutions engineering, analytical tools development and developmental demonstrations. Additionally, Mr. Wissler directs Viasat Government Services’ role in future Viasat satellite systems including special payloads, secure payload operations and U.S. Government-related requirements. In this role, he continues to provide focused technical support to the Special Operations, Intelligence and aero/UAV customer communities.
Mr. Wissler has more than 18 years of experience serving in multiple leadership, program management and technical roles. He previously served as Chief Technology Officer of Inmarsat Government and in various management positions at Northrop Grumman.
Mr. Wissler holds an MS in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and BS in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, both from Penn State University.
